If you are interested in submitting a proposal to the curatorial committee of the Pitt International Galleries for consideration for an exhibition/installation your proposal must include _ the following: 1) visual documentation in colour slide or photographs; 2) your C.V. or resume; 3) an explanation of what your exhibition/installation will be about; 4) a stamped self- addressed envelope. The curatorial committee.of- the. PITT INTERNATIONAL GALLERIES meets once every two months to review submitted proposals. It takes approximately 10 days after a curatorial. meeting for you to receive notification . of its decision. Currently the committee is meeting the first week of every odd month, (i.e. January, March, May). Exhibitions are of three (3) weeks in length, and are usually booked 4-6 months in advance. For installations or exhibitions requiring special equipment the gallery presumes that the. artist will provide it for themselves though we may be able to assist you in acquiring some equipment. Though we.are a member of ANNPAC, dite to insufficient funding we can only offer a $100 artist's fee; and while providing full publicity we make no provisions for transporting work to the gallery.
