| was going to help someone make photocopies in the south
building one night, but he had to get. something out of the SGi
computer lab: went in and looked around, but when we tried®
to-leave the door handle came off in his hand. Trapped like
animals!

The walls started closing in. We yelled, we searched, we
pleaded. My fellow prisoner suddenly perked-up and said,
“Wait, I'm talking to someone on the net. Let me see if they’re
still there”. | was getting shaky. | would have gnawed off my
own foot if it meant a chance of escape. “I got ‘em to call
Security,” | heard a voice yell through my delirium. The door
swung open and | raced back to my studio like a startled wilde-
beest.
