Remembrances of Tam With Tam’s passing, there is now a very large space in our photography depart-' ment. I want to share some remembrances of Tam with yon as she really was part of my daily routine for the last 2 years. I shall miss your early morning arrivals in the department. I shall miss the way you always liked to smell the morning coffee. brewing, even though you never drank the evil substance. I shall miss looking at your works in progress, as your subject matter & image strength was always simply amazing. I shall miss hearing your screeching every time someone collided with you while you were on the floor at your terrible locker location behind our main entry door. I had offered you an alternative space, but you insisted, saying you liked the interaction with other students. I shall miss your humour with all it’s colourful inuendo and artful sarcasm. I shall miss your dogged determination. I shall miss your stories about your neigborhood crime rate. I shall miss your constant enquiries of “Where’s Randy, or ig Chris in today?” I shall miss your stories about animals, as we shared a common love of the smaller furry creatures, especially dogs. I shall miss your smiling face & eyes, which no matter how frustrated you were still managed to beam.
