All students who are interested in holding an elected position are invited to attend Students’ Union executive meetings which are held every Wednesday at 4:30pm in room 235, NB. The Students’ Union is currently seeking student representatives for the following committees. If you are interested, please stop by the Students’ Union office and fill out a nomination form. Our student representatives on the Education Council are currently working to ensure that there is student representation at all levels of decision-making within the Institute. We are seeking nominations in preparation and anticipation of such a change. su: student union Movie Night has been scheduled to take place every Monday night at 7pm in room 260. International Student 'Identity Cards and Studentsaver Cards are avail- able in the Students’ Union office. Yoga is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-1:30pm and 4-6:30pm every week. The cost is $40/semester or 5 classes for $20. Please register at the Students’ Union office. Life Drawing is scheduled for Fridays from 5:30-8:30pm in room 447. This program is free for Emily Carr students. Non-students pay a $7.00 walk-in fee. Fast Track Stickers are available for $2 in the Students’ Union office. These stickers provide students with 3 zone access for the fare of 1 zone. Monday, October 1st, 7pm, room 328: the Vancouver Indy Media Centre will present Blah, Blah, Blah: a video shot outside the fence, and, Praha 2000: the World Bank and IMF Under Siege. Also, Jim Hoehnle will be speaking about his experience at the Summit of the Americas in Quebec City.
