The tendency of interest in the group has been towards utilizing our creative abilities in response to the situation, rather than as another organizational body. : People in the group have made posters, buttons, had a show this past summer in the Concourse Gallery, maintained an information table in the cafeteria, shown films, critiqued each other's work (a valuable opportunity for people who aren't satisfied with crits of their ‘political’ work that they get from instructors), put on peacenik pub nites, etc. If you are interested in AFS, check us out on November 29 (Tues.) 12 noon in room 138. We'll be watching a short video or film and then a meeting will follow. Also look for details on a ‘Spontaneous Show' in December. This will be an evening when people bring pieces or works in progress which they wish to show people for discussion and which will give people an idea of what others in the college are doing in response to political realities and individual concerns.
