Feel totally free to chat with me if you want to see something happen that isn’t Media Representative I feel pretty lucky to have narrowly missed a life without ECIAD. Everyone’s perception of the school is unique, however. If I can help maintain or improve a situation here, feel free to approach me with ideas. Part-time Student Representative Howdy all! Yes, here I am again! Happy to continue representing the students with my enthusiastic outlook and positive energy in any possible way. My aim - to help coordinate the Students’ Union Executive, ensuring a responsible collective that is receptive and understanding. prOphecy daleth star sun Janet Noade Social Constituency Representative Mike Kruzeniski Jason Armstrong Foundation Representative I just graduated from highschool where I served on the student council for four years. I decided that I would like to continue being involved with school politics here at Emily Carr. I feel that I will be a strong representative and voice for all the Foundation students. I would like to thank the Foundation student body for electing me, and welcome any suggestions, comments, or ideas for the coming year. Design Representative There are many. frustrated students at this school, among whom I would include myself. If nothing else is accomplished this year, the unifying of this school’s student voice would be a worthwhile accomplishment. I would invite anyone, but particularly those who are sure the Students’ Union Executive doesn’t work for them, to come and share your ideas. Studio Representative My name is Adrian and I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on making some serious improvements to the school. Please leave messages in my mailbox if you have any I am greatly concerned about the fact that there is no dialogue between students and the Executive of the Union. It is my goal while in this position to increase communication, create dialogues, and de-mystify the role of the Students’ Union Executive. As well, I am interested in talking directly to the students I represent, (ie: queer, minority and working class students, as well as students with disabilities) to access how our voices can be better heard at the school. In particular Pd love to start looking into how we can increase visibility both through art and discussion among these and other groups. I invite all students to come to our meetings (every second Wednesday in the Board Room of the North Building) and get involved. IT’S YOUR MONEY, IT’S YOUR SCHOOL. Media Representative [I’m sitting at this computer really trying to pretend that I know what is going on here, how people feel about this school and our cozy little “artistic community” that we have created for ourselves, but I’m in the dark. I’m thinking “Okay Wendy, time to show these bureaucratic fat cats how we feel about the politics running but then I realize that I have no idea about what’s going on at this school and have so little perspective about how others feel - how can I possibly be political? Maybe you can help me out? Throw a little perspective my way and let me know some of the reforms that you think need to be addressed here and why - let me know what’s pissing you off.
