The following is an open letter that came to the PoA office. It's from those loopy loons
down in the cafeteria. | guess they've got a few things-they want to clear up. -ed.

Creatures of the womb - womb of life - of living.
Life-giving breeding creatures of the womb,

to a new beginning:

They are vessels

would like to use this space in the “Planet as an opportunity to inform everyone in the
ECIAD community of the changes being made in the cafe this year:

‘Change #1: “Jamm Caterers” isthe new company providing food services. We hope you all
‘come and give us a chance to win you back and instill faith that the cafeteria of old is being
reborn and isin facta pleasant place to dine once more.

‘Change #2: We would like to operate the cafe in a co-operative manner. With your sugges-
tions and input we can make this place the best it has ever been. In order to keep costs down
‘we encourage everyone to bring their own mugs for coffee and bowls for soup and stuff. We
fare not using the ceramic dishes from last year thatthe school so kindly purchased for your
tse, due to shortage of dishes this year. Once they are gone, that’s it folks! While on the sub-
ject if anyone finds any of these white dishes left behind in the studios from last yea,
please return them to the cafe, a bucket will be left out for collection. Thanks! Also, if any-
‘one finds the cafe's commercial toaster from last year as well, bless you for it, am sure the
ECIAD community would greatly appreciate it’s return to communal use.

‘Change #3: There will be a coffee express lane during rush periods only.

‘Change #4: A suggestion box will be provided for people who have ideas or info on great
products for allergy aware consumers.

‘Change #5: The cafe has a name: The Ethereal Cafe and Lounge.

‘As a former student and graduate of ECIAD I understand what people want and expect out
Of the cafe, Trust me when I say we will do our best to provide everyone with the best ser-
vice possible. We hope that y'all will inform us when we hit and miss, as this is how we
learn and grow. If we ever fall short please come and talk to us personally: Alice, Jollean or
Mark in the cafe, or Glen, Vera, or Jeff, on the cafeteria committee,

Its our goal to work together with the student body to make the cafe a great place to eat
and lounge.
