I don't know that by changing tuition, that the structure tends to change. How do you mean? You said it's an ideal state If there were a possibility of it ever happening, what practical steps should be taken to make it a reality? | think if ts the mandate of people to make ita realty, then steps would be taken. I'm not sure that itis the mandate, so ‘again i's theoretical. | think its associated with the idea of fight- ing against ever-increasing tuition-fees, which I think is impor- tant, So to me, zero-tuition represents one end of the spectrum, where privatization represents the other end of the spectrum, and in the middle we haggle over $500 a year — capping tuition fees, or ralsing them, or lowering them: What do you think of the plans to create a retail store at ECIAD in which student art work and ECIAD t-shirts and coffee mugs, among other things, willbe sold? | think its great. ve heard several theories about whether it would be selling the art of students or commercialized gifts. think that however it comes out it’s great. | think i'l attract a lot of attention at the street-level, and if there's coffee mugs with the ECIAD logo on them, then I think that's good. ‘Would you be more in favour of selling student art work over things like coffee mugs? | think it’s safer to go with the commercial items. | have a lot of ambivalence to the store selling student work.
