GRAD SHOW Immediately following the last day of classes, Facilities be- gins a thorough cleansing of the Granville Island Campus and the First and Fir Campus in preparation for the Grad Show. Furniture is stored, false walls are erected and each graduating student is issued display space. Studio space and Critique space cease to exist and all becomes COMMON SPACE. If your installation involves an AL- TERATION of the building in any way you must fill out an Application for art installation. Your Studio Assistant will distribute these or you can pick one up directly from Facilities. Once approved you will post a photo copy at the | site of your installation so that everyone concerned is aware - of your alterations. Three dimensional work is not per- mitted in stairwells or corri- dors for safety reasons and please don’t hang anything on any pipes or sprinkler lines. Students are responsible for repairing their space and walls, including dismantle, replacement, of furniture and removal of display. Failure to return common space to it’s original condition will result in withheld transcripts and the space restored at the student’s expense So please make ar- rangements if you are unable to do so. Facilities will provide all your painting supplies BY DELIV- ERING THEM TO YOUR STUDIO ASSISTANT. Please see them for all your painting needs. Facilities will also provide a cleaning schedule for your area. This schedule will fluctu- ate according to departmental needs So please stay in touch with your Studio Assistant and be ready to cooperate when the janitorial staff move in to strip, wash and wax the floors. They will also return to buff the floors just before the open- ing of the Grad Show.
