Already there is an action on the bottom of my shoes. It sounds weird; | know, especially when you really hear it, that there are a number of female heads en-
graved into coins and nailed to the bottom of my shoes. “Mom”, did you know that your name appears on every stamp? Yes, there are billions and billions of
stamps carrying messages paid for with the looks of you. Looking for a princess, nailed to the bottom of my shoes | see those tiny pictures are in the figure head
of mother. Yes | really am walking on the heads of my mother, using the sides of mother’s face to protect me from whatever lay upon my path. Dear “Mom” this

is a letter to you. Your name appears on every stamp and hostesses every letter. Each time | receive mail | find you. One has to wonder how long she will last
down there. She looks so durable, as if she, in all her multiples, could last a life time.
