Location: turquoise green building on Main
Street. Purpose: yet to be determined. Effect: to bom-
bard the viewer with a barrage of travel photo's, arti-
facts, and other various collectibles from foreign worlds
deemed odd or mysterious to the normal sheltered
North American patron. Upon arrival, one is greeted
by the monstrous roar of the entrance door alarm, an
event that will be quickly forgotten when confronted
with the room's floor to ceiling, wall to wall decor.
Take a moment to adjust and explore, for our host, at
the youthful age of seventy-something, doesn't move
quickly. Barbara is both kind and courteous, and all of
four feet tall. She will tell you that all photos are origi-
nal, and that the various artifacts and specimens were
collected over years of travel with her husband.. She
will also probably. tell you to speak up, for her. hearing.
isn't what it used to: be. She is trying to'save'up for a
hearing aid, but they cost over $800 and that is well
out of budget for the moment. After a short, pleasant. -
chat, she will retreat to her den, and leave youto.
