My battle with gravity

is a constant pressure
giving, little leeway

for pulling the needed
space away

from the push

of distant power

| grab

at whatever is there
needing wanting

the colours are a cacophony
of words

yelling to

bring out more room

for the thoughts

of unheeded words
crashing in chaotic envy
the lines of crackling
reverberations

wheel in sharp articulation
angles breaking like curves
of cylinders, tumbling out
liquid nitrogen

that exasperates in
minute whispers of

tired metaphor.
