48 hours / the beans + sugar refinery

Not to many places would let a band play for 48 hours. Apparently even a few audience
members stayed for the 48 hour performance too. Every hour the visuals would change and
the band would move into a different scale. | asked if there was a possibility that this event
may repeat itself in some form and | got a negative response marked with light laughter. |,
sadly, didn't hear about this show until it was too late and | diagnose myself with head-in-
assosis. Don't catch it, it sucks.

Swarm. An Evening of Artist Run Culture. Sept 7th

This year all of Vancouver's Artist Run Centers co-ordinated their openings on the evening
of Friday September 7th 2001. Venues all over the city hosted opening parties attended by
hundreds of people from Vancouver's Visual Arts community. This event was co-ordinated
by the Pacific Association of Artist Run Centers (PAARC).
