Let us just assume that time and space are part of the same thing and like Einstein call it the space-time continuum. This is the reality in which we believe that we exist. This is the reality of which we are aware. In it there are things with mass (which is really tightly bundled energy) that are no more solid than a blazing red giant or a gummy bear on a toaster oven. Things move, things morph, things bump into each other, things happen miles above Hiroshima or while sitting on the toilet reading about Survivor. Matter/Energy keeps moving around dissipating and - re-ordering itself, as gravity seems to cause the viscous stuff to sludge down an inevitable slope. At present we know that our universe and the mat- ter/energy within it are best described like high proba- bility interference patterns. Everything we see or touch or experience including our own body is 99%space and is made up of wave-particles whose existence in time-space is described in quantum theory only in probabilities. Indeed we are constantly exchanging matter energy with our environment. And get this - some of the particles can exist simultaneously on opposite ends of the universe... no time or space con- sidered here Juggernauts. The implication is that everything is connected and affects everything else and that all we perceive is more like coherent wave forms that have persistence (time duration) in an ocean of modulating energy. If we were always fully aware of our connectivity then - everything would just melt into everything else while remaining separate at the same time. This becomes That. That becomes This. Paradoxical, | know. But it is in paradox that we reach the boundaries of the mind. There would be no separateness. No distance. No time. No sentience. The mind and senses shut out most of the information of our reality in order to keep us sane and social beings. It is only with the idea of Cause and Effect that we think, build relationships, and reach for the stars. Without the partial closing of the doors of perception, we would have a hard time navigating this level of reality because there would be no way to distinguish or evaluate anything in it. It would be the undifferentiated whole. When a pattern shifts, there is a change. Change implies that time has passed and something that has persistence in our awareness of reality has been altered. We are able to perceive changes in the pattern — in the nature of time-space only if we exist in an order of perception removed from it. The closer we are to being the pattern, the less likely we are to observe it as something separate from ourselves we are to being the pattern, the less likely we are to observe it as something separate being the pattern, the less likely we are to observe it as something pattern, the less likely we are to observe likely we are. we are. One can watch the ocean or one can be the ocean, but not both in a time-space universe. However space-time did not exist always. For that matter, nei- ther did the ocean of reality. After the first billionth of a second beyond the moment of creation, space-time and causality began. What happened before, we can- not see. But even in our present, on quantum levels, particles pop into an out of existence all the space- time. But we don't see the fellow drinking coffee at Joe's Diner disappearing and reappearing on the lens of the Hubble telescope. We do however get the sense that time and space can be experienced differ- ently depending upon our state of awareness. Now space rangers, we are probably out past Alpha Century and moving quickly away from where we want to go experiencing this state. So let's start to bring this closer to home. Let's start with this morning. Rushing for the first cup of coffee or watching the sunrise - Time would have passed in a perceptibly different way. The feel of space and the amount of time would feel different - the two experiences have different perceived qualities. The difference essentially is one where the mind is full of thoughts trying to make a hundred decisions and one where the mind just perceives directly. One may be several orders removed dealing with constructs and concepts and stuck in space-time. One is closer to the event horizon where unity is experienced. Both actions are removed from direct perception because they are experienced in space- time over a perceived change. The coffee person may be equally fixed and seeing both the actual reality and the perceived reality simul- taneously - likewise for the sunrise watcher. When the sunrise watcher becomes the act of watching and the sun, and then they are riding the edge of the wave just on the otherside of space-time and causality, they may be thought to be in what is termed the state of no-mind. If the same happens for the coffee drinker, the drinker becomes the act of drinking and that, which is drunk, then unity again simply is. The content of the simulacrum becomes irrelevant. The state of awareness is always the same. The message is the medium. In the verge of this primordial moment, the world becomes more vibrant, more levels of detail are experienced. The vessel centres on the wheel. There is no thought or any conception of Space-Time and Causality. All that exists is the awareness of existence itself. Reality a billionth of a second old begins the enfolding of Time-space into an ocean of concious- ness: the edge of the wave, the surfer, and the plea- sure of riding - Da Kine, Brah. 001000000100010010000101logoff00101111111110 01111111111000100100010010010 All distracting concepts presented in the construct above are more aptly conveyed by William Blake: To see the World in a Grain of Sand And Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand .
