E.C.C.A.D. FACULTY ASSOCIATION NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING The resident theatre company of the school, ‘The Johnny-Come-Latelys' mounted their most recent theatre-of-the-inept production of "A Funny Thing Happened on Their Way Home From Work: Tom Kowall and Doug Weir Were Fired" on Thursday evening last. There were two performances, one at 5:00 pm the other at 5:05 pm. ‘There were no advance notices for these two plays so the reviewer has only the word of the audience of two who were present at the by-invitation-only shows. Word has it there was no plot development, performances ranged from the perfunctory to the unconvincing and the dialogue was less than informing. These amateur offerings are less than we have come to expect over the years. There are not inconsiderable sums of money allocated to this intrepid little band of thespians for their sophomoric efforts and the time may be at hand when they would welcome advice in the matter of delivering value for money. In short, showed a little class. Accordingly I am calling a special meeting of the Faculty Association for today, Monday, January 30 at 4:30 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge Geoff Rees Acting Editor: Martin Hunt.
