The monthly meetings are a source of pleasure and interest to the students and following is the President’s report, which will give an idea of the activities of the club: To the Members of the Art Students Club: Fellow Students,— We meet this afternoon to review the work of the first year of our club’s history. When the club was formed last March Miss Phyllis Kirkpatrick was elected President, which office she held until November, when she resigned owing to not being able to give the necessary time to the office. As her successor | have now the honour to present this our first Annual Report, which which is also combined that of the secretary. The first important undertaking of the Club was the publishing of the school Annual named The Paint Box. The competition for the Cover Design was won by Miss Ellen Moore. The Editor was Miss Margaret Williams, and the Business Manager was Miss Hermione King. This venture was most successful, as the full number of three hundred copies was sold in record time and a substantial profit realized. Our next step of importance was the Beaux Art Cabaret, which was given at the “Ambassador,” in October. This was a great success, both artistically and financially.
