GRAD PROJECT: The Grad auction was on February 3rd. At the time of writing this, it hasn t even taken place so we can t report on how suc- cessful it was, but we can let you know that 200 pieces of work were donated by students and faculty, so at this point things are looking pretty good. The object of the auction by the way is to raise money for the Grad catalogue. The next step for this project, is the documentation of grad s work. Volunteers will be taking slides, so watch your mailbox for notices telling you where and when to drop off the piece that you have chosen to appear in the catalogue. you will have an idea of how it s done so that when your turn comes around..... STUDENT EXCHANGE: The exchange program is an incredible opportunity for third year students to spend a term away at another art school in North America, Europe or Australia, while remaining registered and paying tuition at ECIAD. ATTENTION SECOND YEAR STUDENTS! The deadline for applying to the 96/97 exchange program is February 26. Applications will be reviewed soon after that date by the Student Exchange Selection Committee. This committee consists of representa- tives from Students Services and each of the four divisions (Media, Studio, Design and First Year). This year 26 ECIAD students have visited other Institutions from Paris to Mexico City, and beyond! Jane has had postcards from everyone who is away this semester and they are having a wonderful time - wish you were here . What follows that, is a short listing process. Further information will be given to students who have applied for scholarship consideration. BACHELOR DEGREES AND DIPLOMAS: If you have any academic transfer credits from other institutions, Jane can take a look at your transcripts to see what can be used towards completing the degree requirements, and also let you know what exactly these degree requirements are. This year, 75 alumni and 46 students in the graduating class will receive their Bachelor s degrees either in Fine Art or Design. COUNSELLORS: Too much stress?
