"'Plastic Monkey Proclamation' is a humorous three-minute film about a monkey who was born with a short tail. In the film the monkey sets out on a journey to extend his appendage. At the end of his trials to satisfy his physical appearance, he finally finds harmony with a snake that plays the part of his new longer tail. The snake in return, finds safe haven from its predator by blending into the monkey. The symbiotic relationship between two different species, a monkey and a snake, breaks apart the natural social order of things. Inspired by Donna Haraway's 'A Cyborg Manifesto', technology allows us to alter ourselves and fulfill our needs."
