Abstract
The Bird Park Sessions is an album of soundscapes composed from field recordings of specific moments in local spaces across southern British Columbia. The recordings represent each location’s sonic field with contributions from birds, sounds of the earth, and human sounds. The accompanying short essay describes the inspiration for the Sessions, and some of the processes used to create the soundscapes. |
