The AW 20 watch was designed by Dietrich Lubs, deputy head of Braun Design from 1995-2022, and he designed some of company's most successful and iconic products. The watch is quietly detailed and functionally and ergonomically precise, resulting in a triumph of Minimalist graphic design. Luxury and durability are implied in the stainless-steel casement and flawless leather strap. In design terms, it has influenced all subsequent Braun watches, as well as many other current mainstreammarket models, since the AW 20 wristwatch ceased production in 1998.
