Description / Synopsis
Konica Minolta is a provider of business solutions, offering technologies and performance materials. When the company was first founded they were primarily engaged in manufacturing cameras. Konica and other manufacturers were on the quest for compact lens designs, and deleoped the so-called pancake lens during the late 70's. This pancake lens and those alike have a focal length of 42-43mm that could be built very flat. Designed for the FS-1, it is dubbed one of the sharpest lenses ever built for 35mm cameras. |
