"COVID BLUES" is a piece based around the struggles of a fresh grad navigating mental health and the post pandemic world. This coming of age piece speaks much to the artist's own experiences, traversing career expectations and her newfound approach to an ambiguous world.
Karen is a first generation Chinese immigrant, a digital comic artist (@bigbrowcomics) and writer. She's a recent graduate from UBC with a Bachelors of Commerce and is currently based out of Vancouver. She enjoys poetry, animated films and flea markets (which she misses greatly).
